Here up for auction is super clean 1951 Ford door Custom sedan. It has been totally upgraded over the years. It has 1990 mustang 302 motor with T5 Trans and inch rear with 3.55 gears. The motor and Trans have about 37k mile on it since being installed. The suspension was all redone and drives and handles great. It has fatman 2" drop spindles up front. The brakes were all gone through and the car stops very well for being heavy car. The steering box was rebuilt and does not have lot of play. Everything on this car was rebuilt to original or upgraded to today standards. Everything electrical works the way it should. The wipers were upgraded to two speed electrical. The heat works great. There are some aftermarket gauges and they all work. Oil pressure is good. The temp never goes over 190. It has the old school smitty mufflers and it sounds great. Perfect sound outside the car, but not not loud or over powering inside. Very enjoyable on longer trips. As for the body, it was nosed, decked, and shaved. The tailights were frenched and upgraded to led lighting. The front grill is 1954 Chevy grille and all upgraded lights up front. It has electrical poppers for the drivers door with key fob. It works great. Has release for the trunk in where the gas fill is. All the glass is in great shape. No cracks or distortion anywhere. The paint is in great shape. There are some normal imperfections on it like few chips or scratches. There is no rust bubbles anywhere on this car. This car is super solid. These cars were famous for being rusted out. This car is beautiful underneath. No patches, No repairs..The body has all its original panels. It is NOT bondo bucket like most cars out there. It's hard to find 51' this clean. The interior is all custom leather completely throughout. The trunk area is finished off to match the inside. This car is 100% rust free car. This car is one of the cleanest 51' Fords you will find anywhere. It runs and drives beautiful.
