Makeeauctions.com is pleased to present very clean and well presented survivor 1955 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Coupe. Buick traditionally occupied an enviable position within the GM hierarchy by selling prestigious, well equipped, and profitable mid-to-upper level cars. The Roadmaster was key to Buick's stunning success and delivered Buicks outstanding combination of engineering performance and styling. The Roadmaster was the top of the line in the Buick line up in 55 from the Special to the Century then the Roadmaster.This is SHOW winning Survivor!
The Roadmaster was completely redesigned for 1954 and shared its new full-size, C-Body architecture with Buicks Super line. new X-braced frame and smooth torque-tube drive were other features of the Roadmaster, which was available along focused three-model line including four-door Sedan, Convertible Coupe, and two-door Hardtop Coupe body styles.Finished in beautiful “Stafford Blue” this coupe shows extremely well while the ”Cascade Blue Metallic" lower body are 100% factory original and in nice condition for age and display well. All the trim is present, complete and displays well. The front and rear chrome bumpers fit is tight as factory and the finish shows well for an original survivor.
Inside, the recent restored white on blue front and rear seats show as new, with matching new carpet. The dash shows limited wear, but overall is in overall good condition. The matching door panels, carpet and dashboard are contrasting compliment to the blue exterior of the car and look great with normal wear. All the gauges have the correct appearance and function as originally designed. The original equipped Buick steering wheel is in very good original condition. The original equipment Buick Selectronic radio functions as designed, too. The factory white headliner is in great condition.This nicely presented Roadmaster comes equipped with Carter 4-barrel carburetor on 236hp 322 cid “Nailhead” V8 engine, mated to recently serviced 2-speed variable-pitch Dynaflow automatic transmission, dual exhaust, power steering and power drum brakes. The wheels are 15-inch original Buick steels covered by “Buick” crested hub caps.NADA has values of these roadmaster sport coupes set at
$26000 as an average as this is survivor is in NOT Average
and  $44200 as High.Where Hagerty has the values much higher
