This car was just purchased from the state of Florida from younger sports car owner who was starting family. This car was running and driving fine just few years ago. It's correct and rare TR250 which Triumph made as one-year only, 1968 model, as stop-gap between the TR4A and the not yet ready TR-6. It offers the smooth 2.5 liter 6-cylinder engine in the beautiful TR-4/4A body which was Triumph's early 1960's design. The body on this car is pretty decent with no signs of accidents. Paintwork is older. It could use an outer passenger sill replacement. The rest of the body is quite reasonable with only few small bubbles here and there. The car's underchassis frame looks very nice, straight, and solid especially where they are vulnerable around the trialing arm area. We attempted to start the car's engine and it turned over nicely on fresh battery, but with no spark or fuel. The car now needs at least starter motor, clutch hydraulics, fuel system cleanout, and an ignition tune up. It's not currently running or driving. Overall, very interesting and desirable Triumph TR250 model that could use some improvement, in nice original color scheme.
