Email me at : firstname.lastname@example.org This is a 1970 MG Midget, built on a new Heritage bodyshell, and fitted with a Frontline Developments kit from the UK to give it a Rover K Series 1.8 VVCengine, 5sp gearbox, uprated brakes and suspension, and much much more... itproduces smiles you cant wipe off. With 146bhp in a car that weighs 700kg andhandles like a go-kart, but looks fairly standard old MG Midget.. If this interests you, grab a cuppa and settle in, its a bit of a reading... Besides having the UK DVLA ownership paper, which shows original date of registration, number of previous owners etc. The earliest history that I have from the previous owners dates back to the mid 1980's.The original car was stripped, and a new body shell purchased from Heritage. Virtually everything was either new or re-conditioned and it tookover two & a half years to build. The car was built with an original style 4 spgearbox, 1275 A Series engine with a high lift cam, and fairly standard mechanicals. Once complete it was used as our wedding car, clocked up 500 miles, and then in early 2003 put on a ship to Australia when we emigrated. It landed in Brisbane, has all the import clearances and paperwork, duty paid etc, and then through an Engineer for a blue plate.
