HQ Monaro coupes have become one of the top select pinnacle vehicles for Australian car enthusiasts. When released in 1971 it was radical departure from the HK/T/G that preceded it. It was a design that truly reflected the new decade but the coupe still retained its unique presence and promise of something 'special'. Testament to this is some fifty years later the design still stands as timeless classic and only increases in recognition.

This example is finished in standout silver ice blue and rolling on Centerline Convo Pros. Under the monster reverse cowl bonnet lurks very serious 383 Chevrolet small block that is FULL of high end components from top to bottom. Dart block, Dart Pro1 alloy heads, Canton Racing oil pan windage tray, Carillo rods, Scat crank, Camtech hydraulic cam Crane lifters, rods, Jessel Sportsman roller rockers, MSD distributor, CSR electric water pump etc. into Pacemaker headers with 'X' pipe, 3" all the way exhaust system etc etc. Topping it off, 770cfm Holley carburetors. 

Backing this very serious small block is powerglide with 4300 stall and Ford 9" 31 spline full spool 3.9:1 ratio rear end. Pedders front shocks and coil springs. Rear are Kings coils with McDonald Bros adjustable upper and lower trailing arms.

The full custom interior features padded half cage. This door HQ Monaro represents great opportunity for the performance motivated enthusiast to enjoy and know this model will always be desirable.
