1971 Volkswagen Superbug S. A good condition beetle that just isn't getting used. Was purchased almost 10 years ago and has done under approx. 30,000km since then. Exact kilometres on the engine is hard to distinguish as the odometer turns over to zero after 99,999km. No major work has been done during ownership other than routine services and general maintenance.
Has been stored undercover majority of ownership, however, the car has been showing rust since purchase. Rust is located underneath rear window on both sides near the crescent moon shaped vents, under front window along the lining of the bonnet and on the bottom of the left hand side pillar (front down near the footwell) on the interior of the vehicle. The car also has an oil leak. So far as am aware it is the rear main seal. Has been there for entirety of ownership and hasn't gotten any worse. Will also come with spare set of original black vinyl back seats in really good condition and small amount of assorted parts. The car drives really well and is in great condition overall for 48 year old vehicle. Price is negotiable. Roadworthy can be had depending on negotiations. Registration expires in approx. months time. Please call Brendan on 0420 213 031 for any more information or to organise an inspection.
