1972 Corvette Stingray, numbers matching (based on my mechanics review). paid $18,500 and I've put over $10K into the car over the past years (I still have all receipts in box). It was great project for me to spend time with my father. We've done the heavy lifting and ready for someone else to enjoy. Solid running car that drives straight and brakes well. Auto, 350 small block, PS and PBs. Solid frame and birdcage. What I've done to the car: Complete interior update. Carpet, seats (I completely took them apart, sand blasted, new cushions and seat covers), dash, console, Pioneer radio, door speakers and rear speaker box , door panels, antenna, etc. New show correct rear lights/lenses and new luggage rack. rechromed the rear bumpers (that was $500). New tires and new chrome rims. Replaced the door locks and the door handles/chrome (this is worth the price of the car IMO/they were @#$% to replace). Engine tuned. New spring and shocks/brakes as well as new bearings and new spindles all the way around. Mileage is less than 100K but as most know I'd never certify it as true. Paint is out of 10. Has AC but will need to be charged and has new compressor and condenser. For more pics of interior/engine just message me (note I've added quite few since listing). Located in Tuscaloosa AL and will be glad to meet your shipper at your cost. $1000 deposit due upon purchase/24 hours and sold as is/no warranty.NOTE: I've done so much forgot to add completely covered the floors and rear compartment with heat shield and sound shield (dynomat). Almost (I said almost) got rid of all the heat inside the car. And trust me if you've driven one with nothing it's like sitting in sauna. Additional Note: know everybody wants to haggle or make an offer but I'm being straight in the fact that this car is worth over $18K. didn't inflate the price so we can negotiate. I'm retired military guy and to be frank...I'll keep her before just give her away. know I'll never get what I've got in her and the hundreds of hours of labor not to mention the stack of receipts that total over $10K. Update as of 9/11: Dropped price $800. Maybe this will help with shipping. Drove her and my boys for over an hour yesterday with the tops off.
