Email me at : email@example.com Genuine SS 6 Cylinder LX Torana Hatchback Mint Julip Build date of 15th March 1976 at Dandenong Victoria Original 135,000 kilometres, Radial Tuned Suspension (RTS) Model Has only done 2,000 kilometres since a complete rebuild in the early 1990’s, everything done - body, paint, suspension, interior, driveline…etc. Won many car shows, was shown with MINTSS number plates and V5 Gold Simmons, has been in storage for 25 years since. Interior is immaculate, with its original SS dash, gauges, ash tray and steering wheel, otherwise completely re-trimmed interior. Cloth inserts, new seat belts, front speakers in kick panels and not in door trims, individually carpeted hatch area with original side air vents (rear speakers in hatch floor). Body – SS front spoiler (not A9X type everybody uses), no flares, straight as a dye, a few minor stone chips. Original SS grille, side mirrors and badging, Hella H4 lights, exterior chrome trim with brushed alloy look. Only rust found in entire car (after 25yrs) is a little surface rust on the bottom edge of rear quarters (can feel but not see) and quarter panel join near side hatchback windows. All other panels are rust free. All matching tags and chassis number, not original engine. Only modification is a centre pull handbrake using factory Torana interior consoles, original foot hand brake system can be easily reinstated if required (still have the parts). Very well detailed, with custom made spun alloy elements – not overdone. Paint – Original SS paint scheme which is a sort after original colour combination. Has full rubber kit, detailed bolts and brackets. Has some small humidity blisters (can see only when very close on right angle only). Suspension completely rebuilt with lowered springs, heavy duty sway-bars, nolathane bushes...etc. Handles like it’s on rails, has standard brake system and stud pattern. Has 16x7 and 16x8 Superlite alloy wheels. Driveline – Worked 202 with Genie extractors and Holley 2 barrel carburettor, Aussie M20 4 speed manual with hydraulic 1 ton clutch. Standard Banjo differential 3.08 ratio. It is getting very hard to find good hatchbacks these days. Why buy a fake SS rusty hatchback of unknown quantity that you will spend tens of thousands of dollars getting to this standard, if you can. With this genuine SS Hatchback you can keep as is and enjoy many decades of cruising or if you want just drop in your own killer driveline combination. Inspections Welcome, car stored in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, can also send other pics of the car. Has been continuously registered since being rebuilt. Payment by cash on pick up, otherwise bank transfer or bank cheque cleared before pick up.
