Up for sale is my 1986 Corvette convertible. have owned it since 1997. have all maintenance and repair records since that date. This car is reliable and fun to drive. The reason am selling it is because bought another car and need to free up some garage space.
--Leather surfaces of seats were replaced with original color of perforated leather. Seat padding was also replaced. Dash and carpets are in very good condition. --The car was repainted the original color (the original paint had become dull as result of too much sun exposure by previous owner).--Tires have plenty of tread.--Good brake pads. Has ABS (anti-lock brakes were optional in 1986, think).--Has Borla stainless steel exhaust (nice deep V-8 rumble, but not excessively loud). --Digital dash/gauges were professionally rebuilt.--Fuel injectors were replaced.--Spark plugs and wires were replaced.--Oil pressure switch was replaced.--Transmission was repaired (new TCC solenoid, TCC valve, filter, gasket, and fluid).--New master brake cylinder and power brake vacuum unit.--Main computer was replaced.--Aftermarket CD player with original Bose speakers.--Includes spare tire and jack.--I have the original window sticker (sticker price was $39,995--purchased in Virginia).--The convertible top is in decent condition (not poor and not great). The thin outer white vinyl is cracked in places, but the thick liner underneath is in very good    condition, so the top doesn't leak. The rear plastic window is starting to get cloudy, but the rear visibility remains acceptable.--The air conditioner needs to be recharged. The refrigerant gradually leaked out years ago and didn't recharge it because almost always drive it with the top down.--The power antenna doesn't work properly. It is currently unplugged in the "down" position, but the radio still picks up some stations.
