2003 Volkswagen Golf 1.9TDI PD150 GTI speed manual For sale ismy husband’s VW Golf GTI pd150 It's 2002model with 203k on the clock, speed box and MOT until March 2018 (passed thisweek). My husbandbought this car last September from friend as stop gap car whilst he hadsome work on his Range Rover completed, that turned into months because he loved it so much and saved huge amount on fuel (45mpg vs 16Mpg in his land rover) butit’s time to sell now as he has purchased another car. It’s hard todescribe how good the condition of this car is as the pictures don’t do the justiceit deserves at all, think it would be very difficult to find GTI inthis condition. The car hashad full respray in BMW 668 Black with PP65 green pearl overlaid on the paint)so in the direct sunlight she has green pearl effect) which looks stunning,so obviously no rust in the common areas at all. The font bumper has the larger valance from aVR6 if think with no scrapes or marks and looks great. Inside isfantastic also, The Leather interior has been replaced with great conditionset sourced from low mileage car including the leather armrest, both heatedfront seats working great (they feel too hot beyond no.3 setting though) and thesteering wheel was also replaced with an original R32 one (£250 alone). It has £479Kenwood head unit professionally fitted, with built in parrot car kit (as myhusband needed hands free), satnav with receiver (Garmin) built in and DVD/Bluetoothetc.. which is great for Apple music and all the speakers upgraded at the sametime. AP Coiloversuspension kit was fitted by the previous owner with 18” 3SDM 0.01 staggeredalloys wheels. Being staggered they havethe deep concave rear wheels which are 18” 9.5 et35 with 18” 8.5 et35 onthe front, finished in White, the wheels alone cost £755. Other Modificationsinclude:· AMD Stage Remap· Supersprint exhaust · Decat· EGR delete· New VW boost pipes· Replacement turbo fitted by the previous owner around 12k miles ago· Adjustable short shift plate (fitting this made nice difference todriving)· R32 rear lights· Wind deflectors· 6k HID front light conversion· LED Number plate units (not just the cheap bulb replacements)· Bora air vent trim fitted (matching interior lights)· Long life oil change and service only 5k ago· New front and rear grooved disks (with Brembo pads) and brakes linesfitted, callipers painted red.· New N75 Value from Darkside Developments· Lots of other little bits and bobs inc fresh anti-freeze and coolantpipes Power wiseit's running an AMD stage one map, so an estimated 180-190bhp, the car hasloads of torque and is very, very fast for little diesel, but most importantly(well for my husband) returns an average 44mpg and over 55+ on run. Bad points: · Cracked plastic trim on the drivers wing mirror (you wouldn’t noticethis)· Head lining on the rear pillars need sticking as they are starting tocome away from the corners· Drivers side headlamp fixing under hood needs replacing or bracing· Light kerbing on the alloys so to get her show condition you would wantto have these refurbished· On start up she will puff out some smoke if left for couple of days, clears up very quickly and the car is find under driving· Its low, if your not carful over uneven ground you can catch the sump, find over speedbumps but you will need to dodge anything large in the road orraise the suspension up little, which given the ride is still very good onthe AP suspension my husband didn’t bother. · A few tiny paintworks marks on the drives rear quarter after an idiot ina lorry threw can of drink out his window when traveling in the otherdirection. Mostly polished out but itsleft couple of tiny marks, which was gutting given the recent full re-spray!· Dual Mass Flywheel has started to make noise until you press theclutch in and then its silent, had this looked at by the local garage and theysaid it’s not worth replacing unless it bothers us, as could be fine foranother 40k. Clutch and gear change are absolutelyspot on, just want everyone to be aware. Hopefullythis shows we are being as honest as possible and would just like the car to goto new owner that will enjoy her as much as we have as appreciate just how much money has been spend on this car as its well over £4,000 in just the last years! Overall thecar is in genuinely amazing condition and the above bad points aren't really that bad butjust want to be honest as we would expect others to be for us.
