This car is HPI clear and not on the register Purchased this car to repair the damage done by an attempted theft from dealership  , Steering column ,Drivers Door lock, and Cat stolen very straight forward thought but the reality in my opinion was the dealer  was clever and think the attempted theft was smoke screen to sell a   car with other faults have put new steering column in and coded the key and the car now starts on the button perfect every time  have replaced the broken door glass and cleaned all the glass debris from the door mechanism Fitted new battery and the have driven the car .   Goes like rocket  feels like the mileage Gearbox great .  the bad news is the ABS pump needs attention and they are apparently common failure on these cars  the Power steering works but its heavy .  The car has had paint work done quite average job and there are few fender liners missing in front  . it really need some TLC and technical expertise to sort the problems which  I have declared that weren't declared to me .  The dreaded spares or repairs clause has protected this seller from serious rap guess . I have spent over £3400.00 on this car now and thought that as they sell for up to £5500.00 and even £6000  with low mileage was on winner .I really don't have the facilities to sort the issues out now and need to move on . am prepared to lose money and have learnt great lesson from this but this could still make good car in the right hands if you are the right hands make me an offer and come and fetch it did send the Speedo cluster to be repaired  as we thought the theft  had  damaged it  It transpired that the clock cluster had been tampered with and certain lights deleted  all this has been rectified at great cost £180.00  and now the true status on the car is clear to see have Vag com report if any one interested The good thing is the mileage is correct and verified  by the Dash repairer My vag com report and the old MOT .from the pictures these are the ones purchased the car from)  , you can see it is retrievable as good low mileage car the interior  is good but the roof lining has been messed up    Found one for £ 30 )  so it wont be huge job to sort that out .  think  an ABS pump repair power steering module replaced repaired and bit of paint work she will be good value  to someone with the skills to do it if you need any info please ask Ill tell you exactly as it is unlike the unscrupulous people that sold it to me
