This high specification 2010 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 SE 5dr is lovely looking car and it is in great cosmetic condition throughout. You can tell that the car has been well looked after, its most certainly not an ex re-mobile! Just two keepers from new, the last lady since February 2012. The car is very clean inside and out. The tyres are all good, the wheels are nice and there is no unsightly or unexpected damage to the body. Its great looking car indeed with only very minor age related marks. All the usual SE model extras plus an automatic gearbox and upgraded Vauxhall alloy wheels. FSH from new, carried out at 18k miles, 29k miles, 39k miles, 47k miles and most recently at 54k miles in February this year. MOT until January. Unfortunately the car has problem with the automatic gearbox. It drives well but there is delay upon initial take up when in drive and occasionally it loses drive altogether. The car then needs turning off and restarting again to get it going. Looking on the web this could be related to one of number of things including the gearbox, the gearbox oil cooler, the gearbox ecu or the torque convertor. DO NOT know what the fault with the car specifically is and cannot offer any advise on the necessary fix. If knew how to fix it then would do so and then sell the car at its full value!! Speaking of value, in good order this car would be worth circa £5,250. As it is am selling it with start of LESS THAN HALF PRICE on NO RESERVE basis so there is chance to grab bargain here. Please be advised that whilst you can choose to drive the car away would suggest that you bring trailer or tow rope. The car is being sold with known fault and on spares or repair basis.
