am selling my Cougar, which have owned since 2010. Over the years have spend lot of money keeping her running, but unfortunately can no longer put the money and love into it. Around weeks ago, the coolant light came on, took it to the garage and tried the cheapest option to sort this, sealant through the radiator system, but this doesn't appear to have worked. It may just be that it needs some pipes replaced, or it may be something more serious, either way, unfortunately, need something more reliable at this point in my life. It has the Xpack interior, leather seats with heated front seats. New front tyres Dec 2015, replaced subframe Aug 2105 with one from an unused Cougar which was undersealed prior to installation. The body work is, in my opinion, in good condition for 17 year old car, some scratches as expected, but no major dents etc. have tried to include close ups of the main scratches. The brakes have been an issue for some time, still slight kicking when braking and the handbrake is very inefficient. Having said this, have driven it confidently until the recent issues with the engine. Current MOT (expires 10/08/16) had advisories, both front tyres, which were replaced in Dec 15 and Nearside inner front brake disc worn, pitted or scored but not seriously weakened. would ideally like someone to put some time and money in to keep it roadworthy, alternative to this, if someone has the time and knowledge to break it so the parts can be used for other Cougars, would be equally happy. It does start and run, but would not be comfortable driving it for very long at all, please consider this if bidding, as you may prefer to transport it in different way. Any questions, please contact me. Thanks for your interest.
