“Near perfect body, very minor damage to left front, repaired by previous owner, colour doesn't quite match (see photos), excellent original upholstery and carpets, including boot, headlining perfect, steering wheel, dash panel all original matching blue, Paint original except for left front mudguard. Radio replaced, now a CD player. Air conditioner works perfectly, but there is no power steering, The automatic transmission slips intermittently mainly during heavy acceleration. Transmission fluid has been changed which reduced the problem but it still slips at times. I'm told that new parts can be fitted without removing the transmission. The whole exhaust system was replaced within the last two years, again all standard. A new battery and replacement alternator fitted about 6 months ago. The transmission is identical to the Laser of similar age. Ideal car for an easy restoration. No rust at all.”

Except for the occasionally slipping transmission, it doesn't have any problems which may prevent it from being driven. It is typical of Mazdas of the era, having several features which the Ford Laser doesn't such as four wheel disc brakes. The front damage is shown in one of the photos, affecting the corner of the bonnet only. The engine runs quietly and smoothly, Tyres are not new but perfectly roadworthy, spare and tools are intact and original. Wheels are original Mazda. Needs some work but an ideal vehicle on which to do some repairs. Any questions, call John 0425219622. Any offers for the car without registration will be considered if that is your choice. Perhaps it would be good source of spare parts. Seems too good to scrap though. The rear seats fold to allow long items to be carried. Central locking working from the driver's door lock has been fitted as well.
