This is my beloved little Peugeot 106. I've reluctantly bought new car now, so I've no need for this efficient little money saver
It's been well taken care of in the years I've owned it, and I've always driven it carefullyPeugeot 106 Diesel Zest 2MOT until 2nd November 2016Power steering as standardSunroof5 seats5 doorsGood heater it's amazing in winterSuper efficient to drive, it's ridiculously good on fuelGood usable spare wheel under the boot, jack and brace in the car2 keysHandpack full of old MOT's, owners manual, V5 log book, lots of old paperwork and even it's original service history18 months ago the original engine (at 100k miles) blew it's injector pump, so bought new second hand engine (with also 100k miles on), but this time got one with the Bosch injector pump on, as standard. The new engine was fitted with all it's original ancillaries, so came with it's own alternator, injectors, vacuum pump, etc
I have NOT used this car for running veg oil or bio-diesel, however few people have mentioned that the Bosch pump is exactly what is ideal to run alternative fuels, if that's your thing
When, or just after the new engine was fitted, also fitted:New bottom armsNew ball jointsNew drive shaftsNew cam beltNew oil & filterNew fuel filterNew front wheel bearingsNew brake pads/shoes all roundNew rear slave cylindersI've used this car lot over the past few years for transporting tools around for renovating canal boats, and some motorbikes. It's been amazing, with the back seats down you would be amazed how much fits in, and how little fuel it uses
Right now, the car appears to have an occasional misfire on one injector (it gets better as the engine warms up), although I've not investigated this so can't confirm it. The front passenger door only opens from the inside, and you'll need to throw cheap radio in (unless you want to buy the DAB one had put in)
You could run the car for the further months of it's MOT then scrap it, or you could fix it and keep it going, it's been fantastic cheap car for me and until very recently hasn't let me down
