Here Is much Regrettable sale of my impreza, lots has been done to this car to say the least.
Mapped Maffless on ECUtec ecu with Twin Mapping, launch control, anti-lag by Bob Rawle to 341bhp.TD05 18G Turbo rebuilt 3k ago, STi gearbox rebuilt around the same time.Also while engine was out had timing belt, thermostat, water pump, inlet pins, front crank oil seal, inlet manifold gasket set, injector rings and turbo gaskets done.3 Inch de catted straight through exhaust with new flexi in December sounds incredible.Brake upgrade on the front off hawk eye with new discs and pads around 500 miles ago.RCM fuel pump440cc injectorsLast year had new Front mount Intercooler, radiator, NGK spark plugs, battery and new KandN air filter (£250)Whole host of STi parts fitted, including full interior, clocks, rear lights, Steering wheel, front fog covers and more.Hydro Dipped inlet manifold with magnecor HT leads.Resprayed in 2017, very tidy car!Amp wired into glovebox with touchscreen headunit and custom gauges.Only covered genuine 112k milesMot to October 2020The list is endless have probably missed some things off but its had thousands spent and done to good standard.
Bad bits, 23 year old car after all.Does need couple of interior plastics to tidy it up nicely and weather strip blew off by the windscreen but this is really small stuff think in grand scheme of things.Alloys and tyres are not the best, there nice alloys just tatty condition, i was planning on saving up to get them either refurbed or replaced, couple of tyres are getting towards the end of there life.Occasionally the clutch peddle can stick half way when coming up, it doesn't slip or affect the driving atall. After some research seems to be common problem, some say the spring needs replacing, some say bleed it, some just live with it, ive lived with it although was something would've probably got done at some point. The clutch itself is in good order.
Its pretty serious toy and is great fun, it always gets warmed up and cooled down religiously and run on Vpower only, on the whole would say very sorted 97 impreza that's ready to be enjoyed, just don't use it enough and could do with the space. very regrettable sale so wont be letting it go cheap.
