Standard 1.4 single point injection with low 71K miles onthe clockPerfect for RAT Rod look as the body genuinely is RattedTHE CAR DRIVES AND IS IN REGULAR USE CURRENTLY BUT WILL NEEDA FEW THINGS FOR MOT AND HAVE CARS SO SOME HAVE TO GO.
This is the basic model with manual windows and no powersteering so go cart like handling but not everyone's taste.Here we rather unique little polo it has sticker bombing onthe bonnet because the lacquer was peeling and it added character.  It has over the years had fair amount ofmoney spent on it for being crap little VW.However it has the usual rust everywhere on the body you wouldexpect from 97 VW the rear arches bottom of doors and various other little blisters.  The car has only been welded once for last Mot.  It was professionally welded which was 20psized hole on the inner front arch.The car has runfairly faultlessly having been regularly serviced by myself as like reliablecars. would recon for an MOT it will need new rear shoes to get handbrake upto spec and has blow on the exhaust which has slight crack in front of the CATBad bits:MOT RUNS OUT ON 15TH FEB 2017Rusty archesRusty door bottomsRust blisters all over here and thereVarious dents all over and few key marks one shown in picsis length of passenger rear panelMost probably needs new rear brakes shoes as handbrake hasloads of travel as does brake pedal despite having almost new Brembo discs andpads up front.Has as light blow on the exhaust in front of CAT but aftermanifoldSteering rack is worn and at certain speeds gives somevibration (but it has been like this the entire time have owned it )Manual windowsNo central locking
