1957 Chevy pickup with full custom air ride setup. Original frame. Front suspension is Mustang II with tubular control arms and manual rack and pinion steering. Rear suspension is custom parallel link with watts link. piece custom drive shaft was used so the cab didn't need to be cut for clearance. RE6 Slam bags in the front and RE7 Slam bags in the rear. Dual VIAIR 444 compressors feed gallon aluminum tank and air management is handled by an ACCUAIR VU4 manifold and E-LEVEL controller to handle the height settings. Body is all original steel with no rust and paint has nice patina. Wheels are from 69 corvette with 2.5" wide white wall tires. Brand new bed wood with original strips in bed. New wiring harness with fuse pane. Dash is original and unmolested, Floors are all original with no rust or patch panels. Interior was sound deadened with FATMAT and has new seat cover on the original seat, new carpet, new headliner, and new sun visor. Tilt aftermarket steering column with 63 nova steering wheel Rebuilt gauge cluster. All holes in firewall have been shaved. (all holes were plugged and welded with steel. NO BONDO WAS USED) Engine is rebuilt SBC 307 from 69 chevelle. It has rebuilt 350 heads an edelbrock intake, holley barrel carb, corvette ram horn manifolds, mandrel bent dual exhaust with smithy mufflers, billet HEI distributor, moroso wires, aluminum radiator. Transmission is Saginaw speed with hurst floor shifter. (shifts great! Fun to drive). Chrome on bumpers is great and all glass is good with no cracks. Actual mileage on vehicle is unknown.
I have owned and enjoyed the truck for years but its time for new toy!
