This was great car and lovely to drive but started smoking and the garage told me it was probably the valve stem seals which would cost quite lot to repair. bought crappy little car for £100 and parked the Golf up until could afford to have the work done. That was years ago and it is still parked up! started it occasionally to keep it running but the battery has completely died now and wont charge at all. I'm positive that if working battery was connected it would fire straight up.It has tow bar fitted but it was fitted by me and have got one of the wires crossed so the trailer lights don't work properly. It just needs hooking up to trailer to see which it is (I can't remember) and the wires swapping over. haven't cleaned the car because didn't want someone thinking they were buying mint Golf and that it does need some attention. Other than the valve stem seals and possibly the exhaust as I've been told excessive oil could have got into the cat if it is the stem seals (I'm not 100% sure that is the fault as it hasn't used any oil) then this car wouldn't take great deal to put back on the road but I'm not mechanic so don't guarantee any of it!Sold as seen with no warranty.No timewasters or tyre kickers. If you bid and win then its yours!!  No bids from people with less than feedbackCash on collection or paypal and the vehicle must be collected within days of the auction end.
The car is sorned and the winning bidder must arrange for the removal of the vehicle.
