A super rare 1982 short wheel base RN30 Hilux in amazingly original condition. Has the original 1600cc 12R motor and four speed column shift manual, plus AM radio and heater.
Originally sold in August 1982 by Hayes Garage in South Murwillumbah NSW then via Queensland before we snapped it up and got it to South Australia. The first owner was dairy farmer and we were informed that this ute was mainly used to distribute feed on the owners property and was always stored in the hay shed when not in use.
Ute runs and drives real nice, lots of money has been spent recently on tune up, new radiator, rear tyres, set of new shockers and various front end components. New two inch lowering blocks plus reset torsion bar front gives it classic stance.
I have been unable to find ANY rust in the cab area, the rear bed has been sandblasted and heavy duty coating sprayed as shown in photos. Tailgate skin has surface rust only. White paint is real neat with few chips, scrapes and small dents as you would expect from working mans utility.. tin of colour matched paint is including if you wish to touch-up these spots.
Interior is nearly mint, one tiny mark shows on passenger seat base. All lights and gauges work with the exception of the odometer, while the AM radio stopped working only last week.
The Hilux is walk-in-rego in South Australia and eligible for our superb Club Registration and can see no reason why interstate registration should be an issue.
We have sold plenty of our cars to happy interstate buyers and have no problem working with your car transport company and/or including delivery to an Adelaide depot.
